It's that time again! Yes this post is dedicated to the hottest act of fashion or picture that I have seen this week (while on the clock!). This week features ads from Michealangelo Di Battista which were featured in VOGUE Russia, some pics from Britney Spears album art (the couple that DID eat), and some EXCLUSIVE pics of Beyonce's cover and spread for Harper's Bazaar CHINA which should be out soon! So yes, enjoy this moment because you never know when the "phish" may jump out of the water again!

Hall Closet: "Boot"legged

I know that the main focus of a look-book for a fashion collection is the clothes, but upon looking at Paul & Joe's latest look-book, I could not help but stare in fixated awe at the model's feet. I know that (some lower tax bracket) designers do knock off designs of shoes, but this one actually shocked me. I recently did a post on a Marc Jacobs ankle boot that resemble these alot. Please dont get me wrong this boot is sick o ning as well, but I was thrown off track (like J.Lo) when i pumped passed these! Ive posted a pic after the jump of both pairs of shoes, let me know which pair you'd rock!

iCON'Z Pick: American Music Awards 2007

The American Music Awards took place last night in Hollywood and I was definitely glued to my television set! The fashion and MOST of the performances were great, but my highlight of the night was known other than the beautiful Beyonce Knowles! After being nominated for 3 awards she walked away with none, but she did walk away with the International Artist of the Year award that has NEVER been won by a female. Get in! Micheal Jackson, Rod Stewart and Aerosmith are a few of the "icons" that have walked away with it in the past.

Now to the fashion of the night, Beyonce of course turned heads in a bronze/goldish Tina Knowles creation that fitted her perfectly and during her performance she sported another one of Tina's creations (a leather coat that was sick o ning, and the latest balenciaga shoes!). Ashanti was cute, didn't really move me, Rihanna looked cute, wasn't feeling the crimped chop much, but she's still learning so I guess its ok and Avril Lavigne could have definitely stayed at home! Overall the show was really exciting and had ALOT of performances, it gave me a free summer concert tease! LOL! Hall Closet: Ummm..Push The Button

Nico & Adrian-noted as the new version of Dolce & Gabbana is definatley pushing the button in menswear. With ad campaigns that will blow you away-they are coming for blood. Although I see alot of male on male action/sexuality which is used by D&G that's the only comparison I see. The clothes are good, but very different from Dolce & Gabbana. The clothes are average at best, the only thing Nico & Adrian have is their over the top ads, which ofcourse grab your attention, but that's not enough. Don't forget the two names because they have already had shows during Brooklyn Fashion Week(End) but will they ever make it to Bryant Park?

I love. I love. I love. Mr. Williams pictured above with his oversized Birkin Bags-his latest shopping spree in Paris. That purple croc bag is a “Haut A Courroie” which is the original Birkin bag. And what makes it even hotter is that a man is carrying it, that $hit is fresh! Williams is on some UPGRADE U type $hit......(( pulls out pen and paper ))

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is a Purple Croc Birkin Bag and a Mercedes G500 (( with a driver included )). And World peace. In that order. Lol kidding!!

Hall Closet : Sneak Peak VS Edition

The Superbowl of all fashion shows will air Dec. 4!! But if you can't wait, here are a few pics from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It's crazy because I remember the first VS show I saw, I only watched it because Destiny's Child performed during half time but ever since then, I tune in every year. But with Gisele Bundchen and Tyra Banks missing this year, I might not enjoy it as much, cause Ms. Bundchen has legs for days and knows how to open a show. Naomi, where are you?-save the show.

LB Look Book : Thom Browne

Intresting collection to say the least. Looks like minature Andre's walking around, minus the Beyonce shorts. Im really a fan of these looks, it's weird. But I must say menswear is no longer mainstream. I couldn't imagine seeing a butch man walking around in these fits, but you know what, I would prolly wear some $hit like that-you gotta have guts to wear this out in public, but I ain't neva ran from a ni**g and I damned show ain't bout to pick today to start running.

Im quite sure everybody knows that the Spice Girls are back and I'm soooo excited about their return! I was a die hard fan of theirs when I was younger and when they called it quits I was devastated. Now they are back with a new LOOK and sound! I received some SICK promo pics that just recently leaked. Their look is so chic, and fashion inspired. I cant wait for their CD to drop. Hall Closet: Controversy at its BEST

I bet you think that this Dolce & Gabbana fashion ad is really hot right? Well I do to but it caused a stir in the media when it was printed in several fashion magazines around the globe. The advertisement showed a bare-chested man holding down a woman by her wrists while other men look casually on. "We were looking to recreate a game of seduction in the campaign and highlight the beauty of our collections," the designers said. I personally find the ad appealing and very strong in a sense. I feel that fashion is a form of expression just as well as religion, sex, and music. Therefore, as a designer you should be able to express what you have envisioned rather it be on a billboard or magazine spread. That's MY opinion. Don't feel bad though, D&G hasn't been the only designers in this situation. Icons such as John Galliano, and Alexander McQueen have both produced "controversial" ads. Hall Closet : The New Wallet

When I first saw these wallets, it reminded me of when I use to go through my mothers purse looking for change so I could buy that slice of cake from Sister Paterson after church-But, these are men's wallets. Commes des Garcon is taking the men's wallet in a different direction. Im not really a fan of them but I say if you got the nuts to rock it-let them hang. It just reminds me of a woman's pocket book. Im not the most masculine guy in the world, but somethings I just can't get with. The animal print throws me off and it's just too feminine. But fashion is changing so I can respect it. I myself carry a man's bag, but this wallet won't be in it.

Juice Box : He Needs It

Christmas is coming, and alot of people are traveling (( me to NYC )) all my NY people, holla at me!! The weather is a mutha but I love when it's cold. So when I shop for jackets, I look for versatility-can I rock more than just one look with it? Ladies, buy your man a QUALITY jacket. Although they can be expensive, a good jacket is an investment. You can wear them from season to season and can dress up any basic look. Those big puff jackets with the faux fur lined hoodie are LATE. And you can only wear it with jeans. (( If you wear it with anything else you will prolly look stupid )) So what I've done is pulled a few of my favorite jackets by Juciy Couture and 3.1 Phillip Lim. Take a chance and bring some new $hit to fashion.

With Christmas being right around the corner, we’re all looking for that special gift. Well if you’re willing to dig deep into your pockets, Lanvin collaborated with Taiwanese craftsman Franz to make some limited porcelain dolls just in time for the holidays. Alber Elbaz for Lanvin with Franz made 800 hand painted dolls dressed in Elbaz's designs. They will retail for $345 each and 6 new dolls will be produced for upcoming seasons and creations. The dolls with be available at Lanvin boutiques and other selected retailers. No more boring Barbies for stocking stuffers’ kids.

Look Of The Week : Sasha

Hall Closet : Victoria's Secret

Mrs.Beckham gives me LIFE everytime I see her, did you check her out on Ugly Betty last thursday? (( I've included the clip via youtube after the read more link )) I've always wanted to know her thoughts on fashion and what made her become so invloved with the industry. And now my dream has come true. So as some of you might know, she has a best selling book out-"That Extra Half an Inch: Hair, Heels and Everything in Between". It's 373 pages of photo's, style notes, and high-end shopping guides. If you don't own it, buy it, and if you don't need it, give it to someone for Christmas. And trust me, after you read it, you'll become what you once despised.

Cartier Times : And I Choose You

Not sure if you keep up with America's Next Top, but I've been getting into this season, and my favorite has been Saleisha aka Lil Selita Banks. Although some of her pics have been mediocre, Im in love with her drive and personality. I think Tyra see's it as well because she always has something good to say about her since her makeover- her being highfashion and not so commerical. But on the other hand, Heather, who I feel is her biggest competition, has been eating this season holding nothing back. At this point, Im not really sure who will win, but my pocket book is on Saleisha.
