2008 is the breakout year for more "urban/black/latin/mixed/people of color". Im not trying to be politically correct but this year expect more ethic and exotic models in fashion spreads. From our previous post on Wendell, who was in Vogue, to Sharif who has walked plenty of runway shows. From Babyphat, where I first saw him in New York to Rock and Republic. He is signed with a handful of agencies from the UK, Miami, New York and LA. 
Sharif's look is so universal, he could easily takeover the higher end market or the urban chic scene. Which basically means you could see him in Vogue or Complex. With facial structure that sits most male models down, I see Sharif being a household name, his look goes beyond any race barrier.
In case your wondering why I always do GO-C's on male models it's because the fashion industry is ruled by women, you could name me tons of well known female models, but not to many male models. So I rather expose them since male models are taken for granted. And Im into male fashion more anyway so...that's why incase you were ever wondering.
