Hall Closet: BEAT....... In the time of sorrow

Dealing with death is very hard, and I have definitely come to realize that. My grandmother who raised me to be the well mannered, GOD fearing, and the intelligent man that I am today passed away Friday morning. It was like experiencing that one thing you dreaded throughout your entire life once you understood what DEATH was and I had to take it head on.

So I'm dedicating this to the memory of my grandmother. Now when attending a funeral you should definitely keep in mind that you are there for your loved one and I'm willing to bet that they would wish to see you look absolutely amazing. So I called up my girl Mrs. Beckham and she gave me some tips on sick-o-ning funeral fits!

The first thing I thought about was a hat from East Heaven! YES! Something big, black, and passionate. Hats are a statement at funerals and my grandmother loved them. Then comes the all so classy elbow length glove, which shows proper mannerism and etiquette (try and make sure that its elbow, but a regular lace hand fitted pair wold be fine.) And last but totally not least the dress. Now I feel that this can be done in two ways, the uptight (I want to get this over with way) or the dramatic (I'm in mourning and I dont care who see's me kind of way). Either way is appropriate from my stand point so check them out and let me know your opinion. I have pics of each style we are discussing! Death is a serious matter guys, I never wanted to believe that it would hit this close to home with me but it did. So with warmest thoughts... Get your fits together, you never know when you'll have to pull out that BEAT.... in the time of sorrow outfit!

Mrs. Beckham actually wore this Phillip Treacy number to a wedding. This hat gives me funeral down and I absolutely live for the grandness of it.

This particular fit is the "uptight" number that we explained. Very classy and modern with those elbow gloves that adds just the right amount of sass that you will need.

Now this is my "dramatic" piece that screams au vanguard. I just adore things of hi fashion and I feel that if you are in the mood and wish to show exploit your emotions... go for it... ALL THE WAY!

Now this.... This is the perfect funeral couple.. LOL
