Vivienne Westwood debuted her first "Red Label" line last night during London fashion week. Looking absolutely fabulous in one of her own designs, and firey orange hair gave her an aura that was obviously noticeable. Seeing this collection made my love for Viv grow even deeper. The kilts, bodices, and draped corsetry were all cohesive and adorable....
OMG! This is amazing. Westwood really showed her artistic side with these units. The bent fedora, and slouchy men's suits really had me in a daze. It seems as thoughI was looking at a stage play or something. It was very dramatic and theatrical all in one. Another reason I admire this line is because she implemented layers very well. The big hair, pale faces, and drastic make-up exagerrated the look very well.
PROPS! This is the first time in a long time that I have seen props in a major fashion show. I was so excited because if you're not Heatherette or DSquared.... I don't expect much from you but the usual! The scrunched brown boot and pleated pants are sick. It gives me "Jeepers Creepers" tease! The hi boots in this collection were real somewhat "sluttish", but nonetheless favorable. Westwood has done it again...
