THE CoCo Chanel...

Lately alot of musical artists have been brought to life on the big screen from the epic Tina Turner bio-pic "What's Love Got To Do With It", DreamGirls, and the upcoming Cadillac Records depicting Etta James's life... this upcoming one should be the most exciting! CoCo Chanel will be honored and depicted on in a two-part series on LIFETIME explaining her struggles and her rise in fashion. Noted actress Shirley MacLaine will take on the role of portraying the powerful mogul.

"In accepting the role, the Oscar-winning actress reveals it was none other than her late friend, Audrey Hepburn, who originally suggested that she play Chanel one day. "When we worked together, she said to me, 'You should think about doing Coco Chanel when you're older,'" MacLaine told W magazine. "That was in my 20s. I said, 'You should do Coco Chanel.' She said, 'No. You.' I've thought about it all that time, and then this came up. I couldn't believe it." -(www.catwalkqueen.tv)

I'm so excited about this because I will finally get to see a FASHION MOGUL's life depicted and expressed. It's a beautiful thing! The movie will premier in the Fall.

((....wonder will Karl make a cameo?))
