I just had to put up this March cover of Vogue. As thrilled as I was to find out that a successful black man (LeBron James) would be gracing the March cover of Vogue, I was equally as thrilled to see how dapper this young man would look, standing next to the stunning brazilian model, Gisele Bundchen. Unfortunaltely Latebooters, Vogue let me down. This so called "shape issue" (something quite perplexing to me, for a high fashion magazine) has taken this successful athlete and turned him straight into King Kong, as he resembles that of an ape on this cover, saving the beautiful model who is so conveniently in a gown and smiling.
Mouth wide open, grabbing the smiling white woman with palms spread, that is neither fashion nor a good picture. They did LeBron totally wrong, he definitely settled for less with this cover.
Italian Vogue did Snoop better than American Vogue did LeBron.
It's official, I'm moving to Europe and not coming back!
Au revoir!
Fabuleusement vôtre,
Jennifer Pauline
