Naomi Campbell strips down in the new VOGUE Italia “Black Issue.” The supermodel will have a nine page spread in the controversial issue where she will be posing partially nude in three photos. Franca Sozzani, the editor in chief of Vogue Italia, came up with the idea of an all black issue in attempt to address the rumor that "black faces on magazine covers don’t sell the magazine and black models are rarely used in advertising."
"The idea came to me six months ago. We were trying to think of something new, Obama was fighting Hillary, and I began to notice that all these girls at fashion shows looked alike. It occurred to me that it would be interesting to see some different girls, black girls, and that was the beginning of the story." -Franca Sozzani
