Recession Ensemble: Hamburger Helper Cheddar Cheese Melt

You will need:
1 lb. hamburger meat
½ cup milk
2-1/3 cups hot water
For topping: 1/3 cup milk

Directions: Brown hamburger meat in 10-inch skillet; drain.
Stir in hot water, milk, Sauce Mix and uncooked Pasta.
Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 11 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
Meanwhile, stir 1/3 cup milk and Topping mix in bowl for 30 seconds; set aside.
Remove from heat (sauce will thicken as it stands).
Pour topping* over beef mixture.
*If topping is too thick to pour, stir in an additional ½ to1 teaspoon milk.

For real fun add velveeta cheese on top.
