Rihanna was spotted this past weekend in some red jeans leaving a Popeye's, although Im a fan of colored bottoms-I think it adds that extra spark to a dead top, Im a bigger fan of Popeye's; 3 piece wing, red beans & rice, biscuit and strawberry soda. This makes my milk spoil, I can't stand the fact that some fashion labels feel the need to copy what another designer is doing. Example: Fila damn near stealing the design of Prada's high top sneaker. ( Google it, Im not posting that trash on LateBoots ). These Sergio Zelcer pumps are dope, but that red bottom makes them garbage worthy. Like we all know that Christian Louboutin has the signature red bottom-just another way for people to make money on the kids who can't afford the real deal, if you can't tip just yet keep working hard and she shall come. Just like Canal St., another one bites the dust.

I love these new lace up joints by Maison and Gucci because it rides on the thin line between casual and formal. The gucci's could be paired with a form fitting ( casual ) pant or even a suit, while the Maison's could be rocked with jeans or shorts-I love the collab with the white on top of black. Either way you do it, these shoes can work with you and not against you.

Ralph Lauren does it yet again, and the funny thing is that I use to own a pair of these shoes as a child and yeah I use to HATE them!! I would wear them especially on easter sunday and my mother would snap at me for scuffing up the white part. I must say that I love Ralph for bringing back this classic RL Henley Saddle shoe. 
While I was in New York this past week, I couldn't help but notice the different types of styles and collaborations that people put together to make an ensemble. That's when it hit me-my style is boring. So that gave me inspiration to switch it up a little-more color and eye catching pieces. So I dare you to play in my closet.

Metallic jackets and all things shinny came in hard last fall and for some reason I was never a fan. It's nothing wrong with wearing metallic pieces, one of my best friends had just about every color tight and jacket from American Apparel and he killed it, it's just that I don't incorporate that in my personal style. But this is why fashion is more than just one person's opinion.
