Drawing Board : Andy Warhol-Signed Karl.

Being into visual arts as I am, it's weird that I never heard of this man until I saw the movie "Factory Girl". Matter of fact, when the movie was over I then called Jennifer Pauline and asked if that was a true story, I know, I know, I have my moments sometimes. In order for me to really understand Andy I had to watch it again-and I saw how talented this man was. Genius is the right word. In the movie he's kinna an asshole, maybe that's why I like him. I've been studying Andy Warhol and his work is so pop cultured, Im not really a fan of it and some of you might be aware that he became popular for the scene he created in the sixties. But other than his personal work, Im infatuated with the man himself. From his shades, his way of words and that hair, Im drawn to this awkward yet inspiring man. Looking back through history it seems as if Warhol started the whole fashion scene and for some reason Karl Lagerfeld reminds me of Andy-maybe its the shades and the blone hair but I think Andy lives through Karl. It's like they have the same demeanor. Is Karl our modern day Andy?Karl Lagerfeld
