Tipping On In To FALL - With Your FOOT Happy

Tip into the Fall 2008 season with a variety of boots, booties, and sequin-topped stilettos and beat the trend as it turns! Featured above is the collection from Alexandre Herchcovitch's Fall/Winter review.

I adored these simply because of the muted splash of color given alongside the patent leather, and the hidden heel. Herchcovitch wares are loud, brash, and always fun to watch—or wear, depending on how fashion-forward you are. Just last year he re-designed the uniforms of McDonalds employees in Brazil! How cute is that?!
Load your closet with foot-candy that will definitely have heads turning. Here are a couple of my favorites. Nicolas Ghesquiere has always been responsible for ALL things "awkward" in fashion and he didn't stop this season! With his Sculptural Ankle Boots for Balenciaga he continues his rampage. With these grey towering towers you'd think they were "sculpted" by architects!

Next to the floor is the Miu Miu sequin pump (who ever thought that "sequins" would ever bang again on a shoe?) But this shoe is absolutely beautiful! With a pencil jean and a over-sized top and tam to keep warm.. you are definitely ready to tackle that wind! Rounding out these foot-pleasers is the Jimmy Choo Python (which is taking the animal aspect of fashion by storm this season) George Boot. I love this chic and dangerous bootie because it exudes this sexy and racy look that could entice any man at the party.. slip on and take home who you want.
Fresh out of the press these exclusives have had me going since they were presented. The D'Squared "Lightning-Express" Super-Stiletto has had librarians feeling their BEAT! This sky-high heel will be another animated shoe dedicated to the homeage being paid to the classic comics and super-heroes that are being honored this era.

The Gucci "Urban-Warrior" Studded Sandal is sure to send your foot fantasy on a safari with it's jungle-feel and it's bold, oversized studs, exotic textures, and assertive buckles topping dizzyingly high heels, slightly tilted inward for added torture! Paired with a pair of Wolford tights, this shoe will definitely get you through your adventure.

As I flipped thru the pages of the latest "W" magazine and ran across the Versace Fall 2008 ad campaign, I threw the magazine across the room after seeing this shoe! The Vertigo Edition Versace platform is definitely the epitome of "high". In the words of my good friend K.J. Stuckey - "Tine is walking on Atlanta!" - I can definitely concur with that statement. These shoes are destined to fly high this season!

((..I bet your FOOT wont cry this quarter))
